Compression settings

To choose a different image compression method and quality. When clicked an Image compression settings will open.

Here you can choose between two compression method and also adjust the compression quality.

There are two different compression methods:

·JPEG

This method is suitable for a photographic image. This compression method blurs the image to obtain smaller publish size.

·GIF

This method is suitable for image containing diagram, chart and artwork. This compression method reduces the image color to obtain smaller publish size.

Setting compression method to GIF and adjusting the quality to the highest will results the image to be exported without any loss of quality but obviously this may results in a bigger publish size.

Try to experiment with both compression method to obtain the desired output.

By default Flash Demo Builder will automatically select GIF compression method when you open an image with BMP or GIF extension.

Click Apply to all photos to apply the same compression to all images within the presentation.
